The prisoners ´Affairs authority confirmed Saturday evening that the detainee Omar Awni´ Abd al-Karim Younis, 20, from the town of Snoria in Qalqilya, in the Israeli hospital "Belenson", raises the number of martyrs of the captive movement to 219 martyrs .
In a statement, the authority noted that, with the martyrdom of the detainee Younis, the number of martyrs of the Captive National Movement (219) has since since 1967.
The authority has blamed the occupation authorities for these racist crimes against Palestinians, such as executions, medical neglect of sick prisoners and other abuses. The Commission called for the opening of investigations into cases of legal oaths against prisoners and the imposition of international law on the occupying entity.
About a week earlier, Younis was shot dead by the Israeli occupation army near the Zaatara checkpoint in the city of Nablus, allegedly trying to carry out an appeal and being transferred to a hospital in Belenson.
The agency said the Salem Military Court had extended the detention of the detainee Yunus on Thursday, for seven days on the pretext of completing the investigation.
