Erekat: Remarks by US ambassador pushes towards a fierce religious war

Secretary of the Executive Committee of the PLO Dr. Saeb Erekat said the remarks of US ambassador to Israel David Friedman, in which he said that the United States is not the one who decided to be Jerusalem, the capital of Israel, but by order from God to the Jews 3,000 years ago pushing towards a fierce religious war.

Erekat said that there were ongoing efforts by President Mahmoud Abbas and the leadership to thwart US plans to liquidate the Palestinian issue.
