An earthquake hit Turkey´s northwestern city of Istanbul on Thursday.
According to information reported by the official Turkish news agency, the earthquake was felt by the city´s residents and surrounding states. Turkey´s disaster and emergency department said the quake measured 5.8 on the Richter scale. On Tuesday, an earthquake measuring 4.7 on the Richter scale struck Istanbul, causing no casualties.
