Defense for Children International: The occupation authorities prosecute between 500 and 700 children annually

 Director of the Accountability Program at the International Movement for Defense of Children, Ayed Abu Qutaish, said, "The occupation military courts try between 500 to 700 children annually, including those in harsh detention conditions and single cells."

In an interview with Voice of Palestine Radio, today, Saturday, Qutaish added that according to the testimonies that the foundation takes from children detained by the occupation authorities, all of them confirm that they were subjected to physical and psychological torture during interrogation.

Qutaish indicated that the occupying power had killed seven children this year, and 2,155 children since 2000.
