The Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kaila, announced the registration of one death, 170 new infections with the “Corona” virus, and 428 cases of recovery during the past 24 hours.
Al-Kaila said in the daily report on the epidemiological situation in Palestine, today, Thursday, that the new death was recorded in the Gaza Strip.
It confirmed that the new recoveries were distributed as follows: Nablus (14), Jenin (5), Ramallah and Al-Bireh (6), Tulkarm (1), Hebron (2), Tubas (2), and the Gaza Strip (398).
Al-Kaila indicated that the recovery rate from the “Corona” virus in Palestine reached 97.8%, while the percentage of active infections was 1.1%, and the death rate was 1.1% of the total infections.
She pointed out that there are 9 patients in intensive care rooms, including two on ventilators, while 15 patients are being treated in Corona centers and departments in West Bank hospitals.
As for the citizens who received anti-Coronavirus vaccines, their total number in the West Bank and Gaza Strip reached 436,275, of whom 260,713 received the two doses of the vaccine.
