The Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kaila, announced today, Friday, the registration of a death and 156 new infections with the Corona virus, and 407 cases of recovery during the last 24 hours.
In the daily report on the epidemiological situation in Palestine, Al-Kaila said that the new infections were recorded as follows: “Jenin 6, Tubas 1, Hebron 3, Nablus 2, Gaza Strip 144,” and one death in Gaza.
She added that the new recovery cases were distributed as follows: Jenin 3, Hebron 1, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 2, Jericho and Al-Aghwar 1, Gaza Strip 400.
She indicated that the recovery rate from the Corona virus in Palestine was 98.1%, while the percentage of active infections was 0.8%, and the death rate was 1.1% of the total infections.
Al-Kaila pointed out that there are 6 patients in the intensive care rooms, including one patient on ventilators, while 12 patients are being treated in Corona centers and departments in hospitals in the West Bank.
With regard to the citizens who received the anti-Coronavirus vaccines, their total number in the West Bank and Gaza Strip reached 481,392 of whom 339,082 received the two doses of the vaccine.
