The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced, this morning, Sunday, that it had recorded one death and 201 new infections with the Coronavirus during the past 24 hours.
The ministry indicated in its daily report that the death was a citizen, Wattafa Al-Ajrami (83 years), a resident of Jabalia in the northern Gaza Strip, who was receiving treatment at the European Gaza Hospital.
And it indicated that 200 new recoveries were recorded among the injured.
It stated that the central laboratory examined 2534 new samples during the same period.
The total number of people infected with the virus in the Gaza Strip since last March reached 8,470, including 2,955 active cases, 5,477 recoveries and 38 deaths.
