The Palestinian Health Ministry announced today, Thursday, 9 deaths, and 651 new cases of Coronavirus in the West Bank and Gaza.
In its report, the ministry said that new recoveries in the West Bank reached 478, and in the Gaza Strip, 1453.
Six deaths were recorded in the West Bank (Hebron 1, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 1, Tulkarm 1, Nablus 3) and three deaths in Gaza.
133 patients are staying in the intensive care rooms in the West Bank, including 39 on artificial respirators, out of a total of 326 being treated in Corona hospitals and centers.
The Ministry of Health indicated that in the last day, it had examined 3,637 samples. The new casualties were distributed by (Qalqilya 7, Tulkarm 22, Tubas 10, Nablus 50, Jenin 27, Hebron 44, Bethlehem 16, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 32, Salfit 2, the suburbs of Jerusalem 2, Gaza Strip 439).
The total number of vaccinated citizens in the West Bank was 263,475 and in the Gaza Strip 38,168. As for those who received anti-virus vaccinations, their total number in the West Bank and Gaza reached 263,475, of whom 193,127 received the two doses of the vaccine.
