Hundreds of Palestinians in the occupied territories demonstrated in 48 countries in several Arab towns on Saturday, protesting against the Knesset´s ratification of the "Law of nationalism."
The demonstrations, which started for the second day in a row, were concentrated at the crossroads and entrances to Arab towns in Galilee, the Triangle and the Negev, where 8 protests were held in the western bouquet, Rahat, the Dove, Umm el-Fahm, Kafr Khna, Sakhnin, Gilgalit, Shaghur and Haifa.
The demonstrators, activists, members of political parties, popular events and national forces, raised Palestinian flags, as well as slogans warning of growing racism and fascism in the country.
They confirmed the Arab masses ´ rejection of the "State Jewish law" and insisted on continuing the struggle until the law was dropped.
The events were the result of a decision by the Arab League´s higher follow-up committee, in a series of steps it had adopted to address the "law of nationalism".
