The Israeli Military Occupation Court decided to confirm the administrative detention of Mujahid Al-Saadi, a journalist from Jenin, for a period of three months.
The family of the prisoner al-Saadi told Al-Quds that the court in Ofer prison rejected the lawyer’s request to release him because an indictment had not been issued against him since his arrest and his suffering from several chronic diseases and his need for treatment.
The family demanded human rights and humanitarian organizations to intervene to secure his release.
It is noteworthy that the journalist Al-Saadi is married with two children, and has been detained since June 24.
