Thursday marks the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, which was adopted by the United Nations General Assembly in 1977 as a global day of affirmation of solidarity with all the legitimate and inalienable rights of the Palestinian people.
On this day, the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States will organize a solidarity event tomorrow at the headquarters of the League, emphasizing the centrality of the Palestinian cause and solidarity and full support with the Palestinian people in their legitimate struggle.
On Wednesday, the United Nations marked International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People.
The World Day, organized by the Committee on the Exercise of the Rights of the Palestinian People and in coordination with the Permanent Observer Mission of the State of Palestine to the United Nations, began with a special meeting at United Nations Headquarters in New York.
