The Joint Committee for Palestinian Refugees, on Sunday morning, closed UNRWA service centers in all governorates of the Gaza Strip, in protest against the UNRWA policy of distributing the unified food basket.
The committee decided to close the service centers for two consecutive days, starting from Sunday and until Monday afternoon, denouncing the UNRWA administration´s curtailment policy.
In recent days, the committee organized a series of similar events that led to the closure of several headquarters, aid distribution centers, and regional offices in Gaza, to pressure the agency’s management to retract its recent decisions.
