Clashes erupted in the village of Kafr Qaddum, east of Qalqilya, between the participants in the weekly rally and the occupation soldiers. Soldiers used tear gas, rubber and metal bullets and the neighborhood to suppress the participants and demanded the opening of the closed entrance since 2003.
The march was launched to coincide with the anniversary of independence.
The coordinator of the weekly march, Murad Shteiwi, said the march started despite the mobilization of Israeli soldiers and ambushes to arrest the participants, and dozens of cases of suffocation.
