The administrative body of the Askar Youth Centre organized an entertainment festival for children, at the basic male school yard, in which hundreds of children from the camp and surrounding areas participated.
The festival included a group of paragraphs aimed at bringing smiles and hearts to children´s faces, and included performances of the ensemble of Rejoice and frolic in which the artist Manal Shoahneh songs for children, and included performances of the team of clowns, along with links from the popular Dabkeh presented by the Jaffa Cultural Center troupe.
The Director of the Center and Activity coordinator Jamal al-Salman explained that the festival aimed at drawing a smile on the lips of young children who eager for fun, singing and happiness under the present circumstances.
In her turn, the showartist Shoahneh expressed her happiness for her presence among the children in Askar camp, noting that she was surprised by the interaction of children with the paragraphs reflecting their thirst for such recreational activities.
The observer for Askar Youth Center, Mufid Sahloup, expressed his thanks to the good people and supporters of this activity and to all those who contributed to the success of this remarkable work. He noted the moral and psychological impact that the festival had on the hearts of children and their families.
He pointed out that the center´s management strives to provide everything new in various recreational, cultural, religious and political activities, in addition to the nominal activity of sports.
