Roger Alvarado, who has been convicted of chasing singer Swift, is facing a new charge of breaking into her New York City home for the second time, according to a media report.
The 23-year-old Alvarado faces charges of stalking, burglary and criminal contempt for violating a protection order after he was reported to have stormed the Swift house in Manhattan on Thursday, the celebrity magazine "Pigeon 6" quoted police sources as saying.
The young man from Florida stormed Swift´s residence in April and received a six-month sentence and was under surveillance for five years. He was released from prison on February 5 and ordered to spend the period of surveillance in his hometown state.
The magazine said that Alvarado was not in the southern state when the police security system notified the police of his alleged presence at the singer´s house early on Thursday morning. The 29-year-old singer was not at home at the time of the raid. Alvarado was summoned to the Manhattan Criminal Court later today. The New York Police Department has not responded to questions about the confirmation or denial of the incident.
