Bethlehem burial of the martyr Daoud Al-Khatib

The people of Bethlehem today, Saturday, mourned the body of the martyr Dawood Talaat Al-Khatib, more than five months after the Israeli occupation detained his body.

The funeral began with a military funeral in front of Beit Jala Hospital, towards his home in the Old City of Bethlehem, before it was buried in the Cemetery of the Martyrs in Abayat, after praying for him in Omar bin Al-Khattab Mosque in Manger Square.

Al-Khatib was martyred last September, inside the Ofer prison, after suffering a heart attack and neglecting treatment by the occupation, after spending more than 18 years in captivity.
