A limited number of Berlin museums are scheduled to reopen on May 12, after being closed for two months, as restrictions to contain the spread of the Coruna virus are gradually lifted.
The museums, which will be reopened on Tuesday, include some of the important museums in Berlin, such as the Altes Museum, the Altes National Gallery, the Pergamon Panorama Museum and the Gemildigliere Art.
Several restrictive measures are in place to reduce the risk of infection, while allowing citizens to enjoy exhibitions.
Staff will be posted outside the museum, at the entrance, and on each floor, and they will clarify the rules for visitors.
