The Israeli Minister of Education, Nafalet Bennett, said on Sunday that the security incidents in the Gaza Strip were "the result of the policies of army Minister Avigdor Lieberman."
"The policy of restraint by Lieberman has pushed Hamas to continue what he described as ´ terrorism ´," said Bennett, a member of the "Cabenet" cabinet.
He said: "Lieberman agreements with Hamas collapsed, and terrorism continues, we see the serious results brought about by Minister Lieberman´s policy of restraint and weakness on the Gaza Strip, more restraint brought more terror, this is not the right way for security policy, this is a way to lead to failure."
Bennett, Lieberman, was accused of leaving the security of the residents of the Gaza Strip to a good appreciation of Hamas.
"This is not the policy that the public expects from a right-wing government, the public wants to see a harsh hand against the dangerous Palestinian terrorism," he said.
The extremist Israeli minister said he would raise the issue at the next mini-Council meeting.
