(Xinhua) Organizers said that the tenth Beijing International Film Festival will be held from August 22 to 29, when it was scheduled to be held in April but was postponed due to Covid-19 outbreak.
The announcement comes at a time when the severity of the epidemic has subsided in most parts of China and cinemas have gradually reopened in areas with low epidemic risk in the country.
From May 1 to 5, the film festival held an event to show films on an online video platform. The online film screening event, which included 32 films, opened with the Oscar-winning film "A Story of Marriage" and concluded with the dramatic film "Shell".
