He called on community members in the sector to change societal habits and adhere to the Ministry of Health´s instructions and instructions to ensure that the virus does not spread.

Awad said that the Ministry of Health has collapsed from the first moment of the virus spread in China to develop plans and visions to avoid the virus entering the Gaza Strip despite the limited capabilities.

He pointed out that the start of the first stone for the arrivals from the countries infected with the virus in the field hospital at the Rafah crossing, then the move was made to the precautionary stone in the homes, and then for the obligatory stone for the arrivals in schools and hotels according to the health status of the arrivals.

Awad said that nearly 2,200 hosts of medical and security arrivals and crews were distributed among nearly 35 centers between a school, a hotel, an apartment complex, some hospitals and primary care centers, despite the modest potential in the Gaza Strip, and the limited examination procedures for arrivals.

And that Gaza will accept new groups of arrivals through the Rafah crossing this week, pointing to the possibility of continuing the quarantine period for arrivals for 28 days instead of 21 according to the health assessment.
