Asphyxiation injuries during clashes with the occupation west of Ramallah

A number of citizens suffocated, today, Monday, during clashes with the Israeli occupation forces in the Al-Wad area between the towns of Ni’lin and Qibya, west of Ramallah.

The mayor of Ni’lin, Imad al-Khawaja, told “Wafa” that the occupation soldiers fired a barrage of rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades, and tear gas randomly at the citizens, causing dozens of them to suffocate.

In another context, the occupation forces detained for several hours a bulldozer belonging to Qibya Village Council, which was working on land reclamation in the same area, before releasing it.

It is noteworthy that a group of settlers is trying to seize the lands of citizens in the Jabal Al-Alam area, north of Ni’lin, and have built “barracks” in it.
