The Arab Parliament strongly condemned the storming of large numbers of settlers and Jewish extremists in the courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, and raising the flags of the occupation authorities in its honorable squares.
In a statement issued by him, he stressed that these escalatory and provocative steps will lead to more tension and exacerbate security instability in the region.
The Arab Parliament added that these provocative practices come as an extension of the grave violations carried out by the occupying power in the occupied Palestinian territories, calling on the international community to confront such measures as they will plunge the region into a state of instability whose extent no one knows.
He stressed the need to stop any measures or practices targeting the Arab, Islamic and Christian identity of the city of Jerusalem and its sanctities, pointing out that international legitimacy resolutions confirm not to change the existing historical and legal status of the city of Jerusalem as a city under occupation.
