Arab and international parties condemned today, Saturday, the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip .
It called on Jordan to "immediately stop the condemned Israeli aggression" against the Gaza Strip, calling on the international community to take urgent action to stop the escalation and provide protection to the Palestinians.
The statement quoted the ministry´s spokesman, Haitham Abu Al-Ful, as warning "of the dangerous consequences of the Israeli escalation and terrorizing civilians, which will only increase tension and violence and deepen the environment of despair."
He stressed that "the solution to the problem of the Gaza Strip and preventing the escalation of violence lies in finding a real political horizon by returning to the negotiating table to achieve a just peace on the basis of the two-state solution, lifting the unjust siege on the Strip and promptly addressing the humanitarian needs in it."
Irish Foreign Minister Simon Coveney also called for an immediate halt to the Israeli aggression on Gaza and for the protection of civilians there.
"Ireland calls for de-escalation and protection of civilians, an obligation under international law. I am particularly concerned about the impact on children," Coveney said on Twitter.
"We are deeply concerned about the escalation in and around Gaza and the impact of Israeli strikes on civilians," he added.
For its part, the Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, calling on the international community to intervene quickly to stop this aggression immediately, and to ask Israel to abide by UN resolutions, in order to preserve Palestinian civilians who suffer greatly from the unjust Israeli siege.
The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its condemnation and denunciation of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, which led to the death and injury of dozens.
In a statement, the Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry stated that this brutal aggression is a continuation of the crimes committed by the occupation forces, and an insistence on their flagrant violation of the rules of international law and resolutions of international legitimacy.
It called on the international community to assume its responsibilities by taking immediate and quick action to stop these blatant attacks and to ensure that the occupation authorities respect the Charter of the United Nations and the rules of international law and abide by the resolutions of international legitimacy. It also called for providing protection for the Palestinian people.
In the same context, the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates held the Israeli occupation responsible for the dangerous escalation in the Gaza Strip, and demanded that Israeli officials, who used to commit war crimes and crimes against humanity, be held accountable.
In a statement, the Syrian Foreign Ministry said that the international community´s lack of interest in the blood of the Palestinians, children, women and the elderly, clearly reflects complicity with the aggression and disregard for all the values ​​of international law and the Charter of the United Nations.
She affirmed Syria´s standing and support for the Palestinian people in defending their rights to life and freedom.
Turkey also condemned the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.
The Turkish Foreign Ministry stated that it is watching with deep concern the escalating tension in the region following the Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip.
She emphasized that the loss of lives of civilians, including children, as a result of these attacks is unacceptable.
"We strongly condemn the air attacks launched by Israel on Friday against Gaza," she said.
And she stressed the need to "end the aforementioned events immediately before they turn into a spiral of conflict."
For its part, Algeria strongly condemned the brutal aggression launched by the Israeli occupation forces on the Gaza Strip.
In a statement, the Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its deep concern about this dangerous escalation, which is added to an endless series of systematic violations against civilians, in clear and clear violation of all relevant international covenants and resolutions.
Russia also expressed its "grave concern" about the escalation between Israel and the Islamic Jihad movement in the Gaza Strip, which has so far resulted in at least ten deaths, and called for "maximum restraint."
"We are watching with great concern the development of events that could lead to the resumption of a large-scale military confrontation and aggravate the deterioration of the already dire humanitarian situation in Gaza," said a statement by Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova.
Zakharova called on "all parties concerned to show maximum restraint, prevent the escalation of armed operations and immediately re-establish a sustainable ceasefire."
For his part, the spokesman for the European Union´s foreign minister, Josep Borrell, said that the bloc is following the violence in the Gaza Strip with "great concern" and calls on all parties to exercise "maximum restraint" in order to avoid a new escalation.
Peter Stano emphasized in a statement that "Israel has the right to protect its civilian population, but everything possible must be done to prevent a broader conflict that would primarily affect the civilian population on both sides and lead to new victims and further suffering."

The Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs also condemned the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, and the spokesman for the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ahmed Al-Sahhaf, said in a statement carried by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Iraq expresses its condemnation and denunciation of the Israeli aggression, which targeted various areas in the Gaza Strip, which resulted in The martyrdom of a number of Palestinian citizens, including a girl, and the injury of others.
He added that "the language of violence pursued by the Israeli occupation predicts more tension and perpetuates a climate of tension, and this will only lead to an increase in escalation and aggravation without reaching any solution."
In this context, Pakistan condemned the recent Israeli air strikes on Gaza, which killed 15 civilians, including a five-year-old girl, and injured a large number of innocent people.
In a press statement, the Pakistani Foreign Ministry said that the recent aggression is a model of Israeli atrocities, illegal acts and indiscriminate use of force against innocent Palestinians for decades, in complete defiance of international human rights and humanitarian law.
Pakistan called on the international community to urge Israel to put an immediate end to the blatant use of force and flagrant violations of human rights against the Palestinian people.
She renewed the call for the establishment of a viable, independent and geographically contiguous Palestinian state on the pre-1967 borders, with Jerusalem as its capital, and said: "This is the only just, comprehensive and lasting solution to the Palestinian cause in accordance with the relevant rules of the United Nations."
