An Israeli occupation court in Jerusalem on Monday ordered the evacuation of Amal Samrin´s family from her home in the Wadi Hilweh neighborhood of Silwan, south of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The court issued a decision to vacate the house in favor of the Elad and Ateret Cohenim settlements, which filed a lawsuit demanding the evacuation.
The house, home to 25 people, is now at risk of displacement following the decision to seize their home.
The Hebrew Channel 7, that the house was declared as absent property in the late eighties, and was transferred to the Jewish National Fund, she said.
