An Israeli campaign of arrests in the West Bank, Jerusalem, and the 48 territories

Last night, the Israeli occupation army arrested more than 41 Palestinians from various regions, including the occupied interior.
 
The Palestinian Prisoners Club (non-governmental) said in a statement today, Monday, that "the occupation arrested, last night, 41 citizens from Jerusalem and the occupied interior."
 
During the past two weeks, the cities of the occupied Palestinian interior have witnessed protests against the Israeli attacks in Jerusalem and the aggression on the Gaza Strip.
 
The media coordinator of the prisoner club, Amani Sarajneh, added that "the numbers are constantly increasing," and that "more arrests will be reported in the coming hours."
 
Earlier Monday, the Israeli police announced that they had arrested 1,550 Palestinians from inside the country during the past two weeks and had filed indictments against 150 of them.
 
And on Sunday, the Asir Club said that the number of arrests in all parts of Palestine has reached nearly 2000, including women and children, and the wounded, since the escalation of the confrontation began on April 13 and until May 23.
 
The club pointed out that the number of arrests in Jerusalem for the same period amounted to about 500, and about 500 in the rest of the West Bank.
 
According to the prisoner club, most of the detainees in Jerusalem and the 48 lands are being released on conditions, hours or days after their arrest.
 
And "Israel" arrests about 4400 Palestinians, including 39 women, and about 155 children, and about 350 administrative detainees, according to institutions concerned with prisoners´ affairs.
