The governor of Bethlehem, Jabarin al-Bakri, confirmed the strategic action plan to boost citizens ´ resilience to attempts by the occupation authorities to target 82 percent of the province´s territory.
According to the official agency, Bakri said that, based on the decisions and recommendations of the Government, we are working to strengthen the steadfastness of citizens and guide them in the legal framework, to secure projects for them to withstand, and to prevent attempts by the occupation to seize and judaize their land.
"We have been moving around the clock for decades to protect the Earth from a large settlement colonial invasion," he said.
He referred to the occupation of areas of citizens ´ lands in the village of Arras, south of the province, in implementation of a plan approved by the Israeli occupation government to establish 1,700 settlement units over the next five years in the context of colonial expansion and the Judaization of the region.
