The Commission for Detainees and Ex-Prisoners Affairs, quoting the commission´s lawyer, Heba Ighbariya, monitoring the violations and abuse of four young captives during their detention, and they are; The minor captive Izz al-Din Khuzaymah, the boy Mutassim Zaid, the minor captive Suleiman Hashash, and the captive Cub Jihad Zakarna.
The commission said in a statement today, Monday, that the occupation forces use excessive force against Palestinian prisoners, and follow various methods, starting with storming homes in the late hours of the night, accompanied by a policy of abuse and direct attacks against the detainee and his family.
The Commission stated that the 16-year-old prisoner, Ezz El-Din Khuzaymah, from the town of Qabatiya, Jenin district, was severely beaten by the occupation forces. Through which the doors are opened, and they beat him mercilessly on his stomach, causing him many aches and bruises, then they took him out of the house and handcuffed his hands behind and blindfolded him, and pushed him forcefully into the pocket, and from there he was transferred to the settlement of "Dotan" and then to a camp Salem, and remained for about 3 hours standing in the sun, handcuffed and blindfolded, and then transferred to the Jalameh investigation center. He remained there for about 30 days, imprisoned inside the cells, and then transferred to Megiddo Prison "Ashbal Department".
As for the boy Mutassim Zaid (17 years), from the city of Qalqilya, he was arrested from his workplace in a car wash in the town of Kafr Qasim inside the occupied territories, where he was arbitrarily beaten by the occupation police, who attacked him with their rifles, causing him terrible pains and bruises. He was bruised all over his body, then they took him to the police car, and he was transferred to the investigation center in Petah Tikva, which remained for six days, and then he was transferred to Megiddo Prison, "The Cubs Department".
Meanwhile, the minor prisoner, Suleiman Hashash, 17, from Balata refugee camp in Nablus, was subjected to harsh interrogation for long hours inside the "Hawara" interrogation center.
The occupation army also abused the prisoner, Cub Jihad Zakarneh (16 years), from the town of Qabatiya, Jenin district, where the Israeli occupation forces stormed his house at five in the morning. He remained standing outside, blindfolded and handcuffed, and then he was transferred to the Jalameh investigation center, where he remained for about 40 days, after which he was transferred to Megiddo Prison "The Cubs Department".
It is noteworthy that the number of detained children is 180, distributed among the prisons of "Ofer, Megiddo, and Damon."
