The Ministry of Education and Higher Education in the Gaza Strip said today, Sunday, that Maryam Bint Omran Secondary School for Girls in the Central Governorate was damaged as a result of the recent Israeli aggression on Gaza last Friday.
The ministry said that the windows of many windows were shattered, some windows were blown out of place, and their frames were broken, and cracks occurred in the walls of many classrooms, administrative rooms and school facilities.
The Ministry condemned the aggression that affected the school and civilian areas and terrified children, calling on human rights and international institutions to curb the occupation from committing its crimes against our people, educational institutions and school students.
It noted that it is making great efforts with donors to build schools to serve students, but the occupation simply and without any justification bombs these schools and causes damage and sabotage to them.
