A young man was shot dead during the occupation’s suppression of a march rejecting the Israeli annexation plan east of Tubas

A citizen was injured by rubber-coated metal bullets, and dozens suffocated with tear gas, during the Israeli occupation forces´ suppression of a protest march against the annexation plan and the settlers´ attacks, near the Taysir military checkpoint east of Tubas.

The Faction Coordination Committee, the Wall and Settlement Resistance Committee, and the activities of Tubas Governorate called for participation in the mass march, with the participation of dozens of citizens.

Settlers’ attacks in the northern Jordan Valley areas have increased significantly during the past two weeks, as settlers have begun construction and fencing operations in the vicinity of the Ain al-Hilweh spring to take full control of it, in addition to settlers spending the night in an evacuated army camp near the Taysir checkpoint in preparation for the construction of a new settlement outpost in the area.

The participants and organizers of the event confirmed that these activities will continue until the end of the outpost.
