A young man was injured, shortly before midnight, when the occupation forces opened fire at his vehicle on Amman Street in the vicinity of Joseph´s Tomb in the eastern region of Nablus.
According to the Red Crescent, the young man was hit by 3 bullets in the foot, and he was transferred to a stable condition after providing him with initial treatment to a hospital.
The eastern area of ​​Nablus witnessed confrontations with the occupation forces, which stormed the area in preparation for the settlers´ storming of Joseph´s Tomb under the pretext of performing their religious rituals.
And local sources reported that more than 20 vehicles and armored personnel carriers stormed Amman Street, accompanied by a military bulldozer, and spread in the vicinity of Joseph´s Tomb.
Earlier, young men closed Amman Street with burning rubber tires, and threw stones and Molotov cocktails at the occupation patrols.
The occupation forces fired stun grenades and tear gas at young men and residential buildings.
