A wide Mauritanian condemnation of the Israeli attacks against Jerusalemites

The Mauritanian Parliament called on the parliaments of Arab and Islamic countries and the peoples of the world that love peace and justice to shoulder their responsibilities in obliging governments to take the necessary stances to repel the attack against the residents of Jerusalem.

In a statement published on Saturday night, the parliament demanded to stop "all forms of normalization with the usurping entity in response to its repeated crimes against our people and our people in Palestine and Jerusalem."

He expressed his support for the steadfastness of the Palestinian people in defense of their land and sanctities, and that he "strengthens the hands of the stationed Jerusalemites in the face of Zionist arrogance and Israeli racism."

In a related context, the Mauritanian Bar Association called on all Muslims and all honorable defenders of human and peoples´ rights in the world to push for an immediate cessation of these attacks.

For its part, the ruling Union for the Republic Party condemned, in its statement, the brutal attacks on worshipers in Al-Aqsa Mosque by the Israeli occupation forces.
