The Commission of Detainees and Ex-Prisoners´ Affairs revealed in its report issued today, Sunday, through its lawyer Karim Ajwa, after his visit to Ramla Prison Hospital, the seriousness and sensitivity of the health condition of the detainee, who has cancer, Nasser Abu Hamid, and according to his brother Muhammad, Nasser has become He is in a very critical health condition, and the doctors started giving him large doses of painkillers in an attempt to control his pain, which put him in a semi-coma, so he only wakes up for a few minutes, in addition to that Nasser suffers from pain all over his body, as he has become permanently attached to his bed, not He is finally able to leave, and he suffers from severe shortness of breath while he is connected to an oxygen tube all the time, and his ability to speak has become very weak and he hardly utters some unclear words during his day, and his memory has become very weak and he cannot recognize his surroundings.
The prisoner´s brother added that Nasser has completely lost the ability to eat food, drink water, and swallow medicine, as doctors are currently working on feeding him and introducing medicine into his body through a vein, and a urination bag was also installed in his body , so he cannot enter the bathroom.
It is noteworthy that the prisoner, Nasser Naji Abu Hamid (49 years), from Al-Amari camp in Ramallah, has been detained since 2002 and is sentenced to seven life terms and 50 years in prison. Occupation forces, and their mother was denied visitation for several years.
