The seventh Hebrew channel on Tuesday unveiled a plan to build 2,000 housing units in Jerusalem, especially in the Ramot settlement neighborhood, northeast of the city.
According to the channel, this plan will allow the issuance of building permits for the private sector in the neighborhood in the coming period to build these units, as well as the development of ways to allow settlers to enter the neighborhood from the east, in addition to the development of public areas and infrastructure.
"The plan will allow the addition of large housing units in the entire city of Jerusalem," the Jerusalem municipality said. Noting that it will enhance the response to the demands and needs of the population, and will increase employment opportunities in the neighborhood and the surrounding area.
