Muhammad al-Hindi, a member of the Islamic Jihad’s political bureau, confirmed today, Wednesday, that there is a factional consensus to continue popular activities until the demands of the resistance are achieved to break the complete siege on the Gaza Strip.
This came during a mass festival in which thousands of citizens participated in the border area east of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip, at the invitation of the factions within popular events that will be organized to demand the breaking of the complete siege on the Strip.
Al-Hindi said, “The occupation must stop all methods of procrastination, and the mediators must bear their responsibilities,” noting that the Hamas leader in Gaza, Yahya Sinwar, informed the Egyptian side of the factions’ unified position to continue the popular vigils.
The Islamic Jihad leader stressed that the threats of the occupation will not frighten the resistance and will not intimidate it, pointing out that the Palestinian people are united behind the resistance.
Addressing his message to the occupation, al-Hindi said, “Our people do not fear your threats, and we do not fear you, and we do not pay attention to your threats, and we will continue our jihad and struggle.”
He stressed that Gaza will not surrender to the siege of the occupation and will not accept worldly life in its sanctuary and maximum, saying, “The enemy cannot enjoy calm while preventing Gaza from medicine and food.”
