She added that her brother left his home on the aforementioned date, heading towards the house of her sister who lives in occupied Jerusalem, and he told the family of his intention to go to visit her and pray in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, pointing out that the changes brought about by the occupation at the checkpoint made it impossible for him to know where to go. Which he will pass through, to take a passage for the occupation soldiers by mistake.

Halawa explained that the soldiers shouted at her brother, but he did not hear them, and he did not realize what was going on around him, so they shot him, and hit him with several bullets in his feet, which led to a breakdown in them, and then transferred him to a hospital inside the 48 lands, where he stayed there for three months , During which he underwent 4 surgeries, and he was waiting for other operations, before they returned him to Nablus about two weeks ago.

She continued that her brother arrived in a difficult situation, as he lost his memory and did not recognize any of the family, and did not interact with those around him with anything, saying: “It seems that the medicines affected him so much that he did not accept food except with great difficulty, and days before the deterioration of his condition Health, until he was killed at dawn. "

Halawa stated that her brother was born in April 1964, and he worked with his brother in Masha village, west of Salfit, in fabric upholstery.
