The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said today, Tuesday, that a specialized Chinese medical delegation arriving in Palestine on a special Chinese plane loaded with various medical aid, on a visit that extends from 10-17 June.
In a statement, the ministry added that the team consists of ten doctors and experts specialized in various fields, including virus and infectious disease testing, and medical and surgical management.
The medical team will provide medical supplies and assistance provided by the Chinese government, to the Palestinian government and people to combat the "Corona" virus, and the aid includes: masks and medical masks of various kinds, protective medical clothing, virus testing tools, and infrared heat test machines.
The Chinese medical delegation will organize field visits to Palestinian cities and medical institutions to assess the health conditions, learn about the challenges facing us in the field of combating the virus, and preventive measures and measures taken by the government to reduce the spread of the virus.
Medical aid consists of the following: 50 thousand one-time medical masks, 200 one-time protective medical suits, 200 remote-controlled digital infrared thermometers, along with 10,000 preemptive face masks for medical use, 20 Thousand surgical masks, 300 infrared thermometers, and 834 examination slides.
