At a naval rally organized by the National Commission for return marches and the siege of the north-west Sea of the Gaza Strip and on the shores of the area, 95 citizens were wounded by Israeli occupation on Monday evening.

According to our correspondent in Gaza, 95 citizens were injured by live bullets, including a woman, and scores were suffocated by the occupation forces throwing dozens of gas canisters at protesters off the shores of the area opposite the "zikim " military site.

Several fishermen in the sea took part in the parade off that area and were shot by Israeli naval boats.

According to the Commission, the Maritime People´s movement is an affirmation of the message of the Palestinian people to demand their freedom and dignity. "We tell all the parties concerned to calm down that their path is one of lifting the siege of the Gaza Strip."

She stressed that the residents of the Gaza Strip would not accept the siege in the face of their severe suffering, that they were committed to lifting it by land, sea and air, that the right of return would not be abandoned and that they would continue to march until all its objectives were achieved.
