At least 90 settlers stormed the holy Al-Aqsa Mosque on Monday morning.
Witnesses said scores of settlers stormed Al-Aqsa, while groups of them gave prayers at the Bab al-Qatanin on the outside.
The Islamic Endowments Department reported that 90 settlers had stormed Al-Aqsa in the morning through Bab al-Mughrabi, guarded by police and occupation forces, which had spread to the al-Aqsa Square and escorted the intruders to their tour.
The settlers also gave prayers at the Bab al-Qatanin gate, from the outside, carrying palm fronds.
