Today, Friday, the Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kailah, announced that 9 deaths, 1936 new cases of Coronavirus, and 719 recoveries have been recorded during the past 24 hours.
In the daily report on the epidemiological situation of the virus in Palestine, Al-Kailah said that new deaths were recorded in the governorates of Bethlehem (1), Hebron (3), Jenin (2), Tulkarm (1), and the Gaza Strip (2).
She added that the new infections were distributed in the governorates as follows:
Hebron (137).
Nablus (190).
Bethlehem (106).
Qalqilya (57).
Ramallah and Al-Bireh (122).
Jenin (135).
Jericho and Al Aghwar (14).
Salfit (60).
Tulkarm (86).
Tubas (75).
Suburbs of Jerusalem (32).
Gaza Strip (922).
It indicated that 7717 examinations were performed.
It stated that recovery cases were recorded in the governorates as follows: Hebron (97), Jenin (50), Nablus (129), Tulkarm (40), Ramallah and Al-Bireh (83), Tubas (10), Qalqilya (15), Jericho and Al-Aghwar. (8), Salfit (17), Gaza Strip (270).
She indicated that the rate of recovery from the "Corona" virus in Palestine amounted to 79.4%, while the rate of active infections reached 19.7%, and the death rate was 0.9% of all infections.
Al-Kailah pointed out that there are 57 patients in the intensive care rooms, including 8 patients on artificial respirators.
