Today, Tuesday, the Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kailah, announced that 9 deaths, 1,022 new cases of Coronavirus, and 733 recoveries were recorded during the past 24 hours.
In the daily epidemiological report, Minister Al-Keela indicated that 7 deaths were recorded in the West Bank, "Hebron 2, Salfit 2, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 1, Bethlehem 1, Jenin 1", and two deaths were recorded in the Gaza Strip.
She indicated that the new injuries were recorded as follows: “Salfit (71), the suburbs of Jerusalem (69), Hebron (91), Ramallah and Al-Bireh (181), Bethlehem (55), Qalqilya (21), Tulkarm (32), Nablus (49), Jenin (32), Tubas (8), Jericho and Al-Aghwar (5), Gaza Strip (148), Jerusalem (260).
She added that the new cases of recovery were divided according to the following: Salfit (16), the suburbs of Jerusalem (0), Hebron (28), Ramallah and Al-Bireh (91), Bethlehem (33), Qalqilya (2), Tulkarm (31), Nablus (68), Jenin (17), Tubas (9), Jericho and Al-Aghwar (4), Gaza Strip (264), and the city of Jerusalem (170).
And she continued: The rate of recovery from the Corona virus in Palestine reached 93.7%, while the rate of active infections reached 5.1%, and the death rate was 1.1% of all infections.
The Minister of Health pointed out that there are 58 patients in the intensive care rooms, including 17 patients on artificial respirators.
