The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced today, Friday, that it had recorded 8 deaths and 499 new cases of Coronavirus during the past 24 hours.
The ministry indicated in its daily report that the total number of cases that need medical care inside the hospital is 242, of which 131 are serious and critical cases.
And she indicated that 790 new recoveries from the Corona virus were recorded.
It stated that the central laboratory examined 2055 new samples during the same period.
Thus, the total number of people infected with the virus in the Gaza Strip since last March reached 44,778 cases, of whom 8,607 are active cases, 35,747 cases of recovery and 424 deaths.
