On Thursday, the Ministry of Health announced 8 deaths, 442 new cases of Coronavirus, in addition to 281 recoveries.
The Minister of Health said that the rate of recovery from the virus in Palestine reached 87.4%, while the rate of active infections reached 11.8%, and the death rate was 0.8%.
She added that 8 deaths were recorded in the West Bank (a 72-year-old citizen from Jenin, a 92-year-old citizen, an 86-year-old citizen from Tulkarm, two female citizens of 65 years and 36 years of age from Dura and al-Fawwar Camp in Hebron, a 62-year-old citizen from Bidya Balsalfit, a 73-year-old citizen from Ramallah, and a 56-year-old citizen. 1 year old, from Ain Al Sultan camp in Jericho governorate).
With regard to recovery cases, 201 cases were recorded in the West Bank (63 Hebron, 32 Jenin, 46 Tulkarem, Qalqilya 8, 2 Salfit, 16 Nablus, 30 Ramallah and Al-Bireh, Tubas 4), in addition to 80 cases in the Gaza Strip.
She added that the new injuries were distributed according to the following: Hebron Governorate (75), Nablus Governorate (49), Bethlehem Governorate (58), Qalqilya Governorate (21), Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate (41), Jenin (28), Jericho (20) Salfit (5), Tubas (6), Tulkarm (47), the Gaza Strip (81), and the suburbs of Jerusalem (11).
She pointed out that there are 36 patients in intensive care rooms, including 6 patients on artificial respirators.
