Eight civilians were injured by rubber-coated metal bullets, and dozens suffocated with tear gas, this evening, Wednesday, during clashes with the Israeli occupation forces on Jabal Sabih, which is threatened to be seized, in the town of Beita, south of Nablus.

The director of ambulance and emergency at the Red Crescent in Nablus, Ahmed Jibril, told Wafa that 8 civilians were injured by “rubber bullets” and dozens of people suffocated with tear gas during the confrontations in Beita, in addition to the injury of a young man with bruises as a result of the beatings by the occupation soldiers.

The town of Beita witnesses daily confrontations as part of the protest activities against the establishment of the “Givat Avitar” settlement outpost on the top of Mount Sabih.

It is noteworthy that the young man, Shadi Omar Lotfi Salim, 41, from the town of Beita, was martyred yesterday evening, when he was shot by the occupation forces, while he was near the town intersection.
