The Ministry of Agriculture in the Gaza Strip estimated the initial losses of the latest air depression at an amount of $ 700,000.
The ministry said in a statement that an area of ​​500 dunums was directly affected by the depression, indicating that its crews counted the damage in all agricultural facilities in the sector.
The damage varied between animal and vegetable production facilities, where it recorded the highest value in the governorates of the southern sector with an area of ​​(300) acres, and included plastic sheeting for greenhouses, agricultural tunnels and damage to crops, in addition to the damage of poultry farms and the death of birds in them.
