The Prisoners and Executives Affairs Authority said today, Tuesday, that there are about 700 cases of sickness among the prisoners inside the Israeli occupation prisons, among them 40 difficult cases.
The media advisor of the authority, Hassan Abed Rabbo, told Wafa that the pathological cases varied between stomach and intestinal problems, paralysis and disability, and amputations, in addition to the presence of 10 cases of cancerous tumors, the last of which was the two captives Imad Abu Ramz and Nidal Abu Aahour.
He pointed out that there are 250 difficult diseases that require continuous treatment and surgical intervention, of which 40 are intractable ones, such as heart disease, cancer, organized transplantation, and some amputations and disabilities, which indicates the difficult health conditions that prisoners suffer from.
He stressed that this matter requires sending a medical committee by the International Committee of the Red Cross and the World Health Organization to follow up the cases of sick prisoners.
