Today, Friday, the Ministry of Health announced that 6 deaths and 730 new cases of Coronavirus have been recorded during the past 24 hours, which brings the number of deaths since the beginning of the pandemic in Palestine to 617 deaths.
In the daily report on the epidemiological situation of the virus in Palestine, the Ministry confirmed that the total number of infections in Palestine reached 72,967, while 506 recoveries were recorded, bringing the number of people recovering to 64,431.
The Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kailah, said that the new deaths were recorded for two citizens (38 and 84 years) from Jenin governorate, 3 citizens (65, 90 and 79 years) from Tulkarm governorate, and a citizen (70 years) from the Gaza Strip.
She added that new infections were recorded in the governorates as follows:

Ramallah and Al-Bireh (43).
Jenin (35).
Jericho and Al Aghwar (10).

Tulkarm (30).

She explained that recovery cases were recorded in the governorates as follows:

Al-Kailah stated that the rate of recovery from the Corona virus in Palestine reached 88.1%, while the rate of active infections reached 11.1%, and the death rate was 0.8% of all infections.
The Minister of Health indicated that there are 40 patients in the intensive care rooms, including 10 patients on artificial respirators.
