50 Jerusalemites were arrested during clashes in various neighborhoods of Jerusalem

 Israeli military sources said that nearly 50 Palestinian youths were arrested from different neighborhoods of occupied East Jerusalem after they confronted settler gangs who attacked Jerusalemites yesterday evening and after midnight.

In a statement published in Israeli newspapers, the occupation police said that most of the detainees were from occupied Jerusalem and were arrested during the clashes in the vicinity of the Old City of occupied Jerusalem, while 20 Israeli policemen were injured by throwing stones and transporting a number of them to receive treatment.

The confrontations continued from the end of the Tarawih prayer until the early morning hours in the various neighborhoods of the Holy City, especially those bordering West Jerusalem, such as Sheikh Jarrah, Al-Misrara, French Hill and Wadi Al-Joz.

While the Red Crescent reported that the number of Palestinians injured during those confrontations exceeded 105 civilians, and their wounds were described as moderate and minor, including women and children.
