Israeli occupation forces arrested five citizens from different cities on Saturday morning, while fierce clashes broke out at al-Shuhada ´junction in the town of Qabatiya in Jenin district.
Local sources said that the Israeli occupation forces arrested the prisoner Ous Majed Thawabta at a checkpoint near the entrance to the town of Beit Fajjar south of Bethlehem, and erected a checkpoint in Khirbat al-Deir in the town of Teqoa, southeast of Bethlehem.
In the occupied Jerusalem, the occupation arrested Sheikh Raafat Naguib from his home in the Old City. Tawfiq Abu Dheim and Ahmed Abu Arafa were also arrested after they left the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The interrogator, Ra´ed Aslim Radwan, was kidnapped from the town of Azzun while he was near the entrance to the village of Ezbet al-Tabib, east of Qalqilya.
Violent confrontations broke out between the young men and the occupation forces at the Martyrs´ Circle near Qabatiya in the Jenin district, which continued for several hours.
