Five civilians, including a paramedic, were injured in clashes in Kafr Kaddoum on Saturday evening after the weekly march began towards the entrance, which has been closed since 2003.
Eyewitnesses confirmed that the Israeli army suppressed the participants in the weekly march and targeted the participants with metal and rubber bullets, tear gas canisters and ambushes to arrest the youths.
The weekly march has entered its tenth year since 2011 in order to meet the demands of residents to communicate with nearby Palestinian communities and not to use long bypass roads.
