The Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kaila, announced today, Sunday, the registration of 5 deaths, 906 new cases of corona and 204 cases of recovery, during the past 24 hours.
She explained that the recovery rate from the Corona virus in Palestine reached 96.5%, while the percentage of active infections was 2.4%, and the death rate was 1.1%, of the total infections.
The minister indicated that the new injuries were recorded as follows: “Qalqilya 36, ​​Nablus 226, Tulkarm 76, Tubas 36, Salfit 31, Jenin 45, Jericho and the Jordan Valley 6, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 64, Jerusalem suburbs 4, Bethlehem 5, Hebron 10, Gaza Strip 367".
Al-Kaila added that the new cases of recovery were distributed as follows: “Qalqilya 17, Nablus 28, Tulkarm 21, Tubas 9, Salfit 1, Jenin 9, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 18, Jerusalem suburbs 2, Hebron 4, and the Gaza Strip 95.” And 5 deaths were recorded as a result of infection with the virus in the Gaza Strip.
The Minister of Health pointed out that there are 31 patients in intensive care rooms, while 96 patients are being treated in Corona centers and departments in West Bank hospitals, including 6 patients on artificial respirators.
She stated that the total number of citizens who received vaccines against the Corona virus in the West Bank and Gaza Strip reached 698,305, including 436,962 who received the two doses of the vaccine.
